Age Determination
East Side has programs for boys and girls ages 5-18. A child's age for baseball (including T-Ball) is determined by the child's age on April 30, 2010. To play T-Ball, boys and girls must be born before May 1, 2005. Age for softball is determined by the child's age on December 31, 2009. Age is not determined by gender, but by the program the child will play in.Levels of Play
- T-Ball - boys and girls ages 5-6yo.
- Farm Baseball - boys ages 7-8yo, spring loaded pitching machine.
- Farm Softball - girls ages 7-8yo, coach pitch.
- Minor Baseball - boys 9-12yo, kid pitch.
- Minor Softball - girls 9-12yo, kid pitch.
- Major Baseball - boys 10-12yo, kid pitch, selected by tryouts.
- Major Softball - girls 9-12yo, kid pitch, selected by tryouts.
- Junior/Senior Baseball - boys 13yo, 14yo, 15yo, 16-18yo, selected by tryouts.
- Junior/Senior Softball - girls 13-18yo.
What does it cost?
Registration for 1 child costs $85. This includes the cost of 35 raffle tickets that you can sell for $1 each to earn back a portion of your registration costs. If you choose to sell the tickets, keep the money and return the ticket stubs to the Concession Stand in order for them to be entered in the drawing. If you don't sell the tickets, fill them out with your name and turn in the ticket stubs to the Concession Stand. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased at a reduced cost and resold to earn even more money for your child. Registering early can save you money too. By registering your child during the first weekend, you will save $10 off the cost per child.What does your child receive?
Your child will receive a t-shirt and hat to keep and the use of bats, helmets and other equipment that are provided by East Side. Each level of play is different, but your child will play in 12-20 games in a clean and safe environment at East Side.What to bring
When you come to registration, please bring the following items:- check or money order, NO CASH.
- a birth certificate (if player is new to East Side).
- a current utility bill or other documentation for proof of address.
- the player's doctor's name, address and telephone number.
- date of last tetanus toxoid booster.
